Teach Us To Pray

The first major phrase in the Lord’s Prayer is “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.” In this model prayer given to us by Jesus, we are invited to address God as our Father, recognizing that we are God’s children. The Father is identified as being in heaven, and our response is to recognize that his name is holy.
