Baptism

John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Luke 3:16

About Baptisms at North Sound

Once someone has made a decision to become a follower (disciple) of Jesus, we recommend they make that a declaration through being baptized by water. It is something that Jesus modeled and commanded for His followers.

We periodically gather together and celebrate a time of baptisms. Contact us below to learn more.

Three people waist-deep in water during a baptism ceremony: a woman in the center with wet hair and a soaked beige shirt, holding hands with two men on either side, one wearing sunglasses and a black shirt, the other bald with a blue polo shirt, both smiling.

The Bible says that all professing Christians should be baptized (Matthew 28:18-20). Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time and never got baptized or are a new Christian, we would be honored to baptize you!

The mission of North Sound Church is to extend the kingdom of God by making mature disciples of Jesus Christ in the context of a life-transforming community.
