Barry Crane
Senior Pastor
Barry was born in Wisconsin, but at a young age moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has served churches in Canada and the United States. He originally came to Seattle to attend graduate school at the University of Washington. Barry served as a United States Navy Chaplain for 25 years. Barry and his wife Barb have three adult children: Sean, Ryan, and Scott.
North Sound Church grew out of a desire placed in Barry’s heart to see a life-transforming community in Southwest Snohomish County that is externally focused, culturally-relevant, and Spirit-empowered.

John Ma
Discipleship Pastor
After spending the first decade of his life in Korea, John immigrated with his family to the U.S. He moved along the East Coast before settling in Ohio for his adult years while meeting his wife Christine at THE Ohio State University. John completed seminary and served churches in Central Ohio for 15 years and is now serving alongside his wife Christine and their three kids Ana, Abe and Karis.

Casey Kramer
Worship Pastor
Casey has been involved in music ministry for most of her life. She has a background in early childhood education along with music and has a passion to see people of all ages coming together united in worship. It is her goal that worship be something that draws us closer to God bringing all of the glory, praise and honor to Him.
Casey is joined by her husband Chris on the piano. Their daughter Olivia loves music just as much as her parents.

Christine Ma
Children's Pastor
Christine was born and raised in Ohio. She spent two years at the University of Washington for her graduate studies before moving back to Ohio. She then married her husband, John, and welcomed their two oldest children, Ana and Abe. She returned to the PWN in the summer of 2025 and has enjoyed everything it has to offer with her family while also welcoming their youngest child, Karis. Christine has served in various children's ministry positions for almost 10 years. She is also a licensed speech-language pathologist and has enjoyed working with all ages. Christine has a desire to see children come to know and experience God and to equip others to grow in Kingdom work.

Robin Munshaw
Youth Pastor
Robin joined North Sound Church with experience serving in youth, college, worship, and mission ministries. His desire is to encourage students to model their lives after Jesus, for them to develop their own relationship with God, and to live their lives in a great adventure with Him. Robin and his wife Dawnita, have three boys: Josiah, Jadon, and Justus.

Finny Philip
Community Ministry Pastor
Finny, prior to joining the NSC Team worked as an Internal Medicine physician. In 2015, he responded to the Lord’s calling and pursued theological training which brought him to the US. Love for God and Love for People has animated all decisions of his life and he considers it both a privilege and duty to “Reach All” and “Serve All” with the words and the works of Jesus Christ.
Originally from Mumbai, India, Finny resides in Edmonds, WA, with his wife Joanne, and four children: John, Hannah, Nathan, Rachel and Sarah.

At North Sound Church we are blessed to have spiritual depth, life experience and mature disciples of Jesus Christ on our board of elders.
Kathie Burnside
Elder
Kathie and her husband Greg have been members at NSC since 2012. Kathie has led Women’s Bible Study at North Sound and in other churches. She served as an Elder in her former church as well as NSC.
Kathie grew up in the Chicago area and lived in New Mexico, Texas and Chicago again before settling in the Northwest in 1977. Kathie has been involved with Missions and she and Greg were blessed to make many trips to Africa to work with medical mission teams. Kathie had a career in Nursing and she loved being able to put her RN skills to work along with sharing the love of Jesus with people on another continent.
Kathie and Greg love Edmonds and feel blessed to live in such a beautiful and vibrant town, with North Sound Church at the heart of it, engaging the community through its involvement in Edmonds’ many seasonal activities. Kathie and Greg have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren.

Dennis Guhlke
Elder
Dennis was born in Spokane and grew up in North Seattle. He is a graduate of King’s High School, and then attended Seattle Pacific University, where he studied accounting and finance. He started work as a CPA, followed by a career in the global seafood industry. Dennis is semi-retired now and greatly enjoys serving with other Christian ministries. He is currently a member of the Boards of CRISTA Ministries and PAK7 US, and has also served as an Alpha volunteer.
Dennis is thankful for the blessing of growing up in a Christian home. He is married to Traci, his high school sweetheart from their days at King’s. They have lived in Edmonds since 1988 and have attended North Sound since 2006. They love spending time with their two sons Alex and James, and enjoy traveling with friends whenever they can.

Arthur Jones
Elder
Art grew up in Edmonds, Washington. He lived in five (5) different states for short periods during his working career, but always found Edmonds to be his home. He retired as CEO at Associated Grocers but continues to do consulting in the retail industry.
While he grew up in a Christian home, it was in Denver at age 30 when he came into a personal relationship with Jesus. Art has been involved in the Navigator Ministry, Bible Study Fellowship, and home groups. He has also served on several non-profit and for-profit boards.
Art and Eunice thoroughly enjoy living and walking in Edmonds. Together, they lay claim to 36 great-grandchildren. They enjoy hiking and road trips to visit extended family members scattered throughout the country.

Dan Radley
Elder
Dan grew up in Ballard and accepted Jesus at 11 years old. His faith was renewed when he became a parent and realized he needed God's help. He has a gift for service, and has held various positions in the church. Dan has also joined "Vacation with a Purpose" and made 5 mission trips to Honduras, helping to build a clinic, school, and build discipleship with the people.
Dan is married to Kerry and they have been at North Sound since its early years. They have both been involved in small groups, and actively leading Men and Women’s ministries. Dan is semi-retired and joyfully serves the church family.

Our Staff
At North Sound Church we are blessed to have staff ready to serve. Our team is available Monday-Thursday from 9 am - 5 pm.
Jan Pendleton
Administrative Assistant
Hello! I’m so glad to be working with you all at North Sound Church. I’ve been a resident in Edmonds off and on for twenty years and believe this is a lovely place to live. My three children are grown but live close by, so I get to see them often. I’m also the proud Nana of two boys. I have attended California Lutheran Bible School in Los Angeles CA., Genesis Discipleship Training in Santa Rosa, CA., and Puget Sound Christian College, in Edmonds.
My twelve years as an evidence coordinator with EPIQ in Seattle gave me an appreciation for keeping secure track of things. I’ll be transferring those skills here for the Church needs as they come by my desk. It is my privilege to share life with you.

Chris Kramer
Tech Director
Chris started playing piano in church at age 10 and never quit. He has a Music Tech degree from SPU and has been part of the North Sound Family since 2006. In the last 20+ years his goal has been to utilize instruments, music, technology and equipment to build a bridge, then step aside, as it draws people in to worship with their Creator. Chris plays piano on Sundays and is joined by his wife Casey on stage. Their daughter Olivia loves to sing, only wears purple and will often been seen running barefoot around the building.
