Barry Crane, Senior Pastor

Barry was born in Wisconsin, but at a young age moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has served churches in Canada and the United States. He originally came to Seattle to attend graduate school at the University of Washington. Barry served as a United States Navy Chaplain for 25 years. Barry and his wife Barb have three adult children: Sean, Ryan and Scott. North Sound Church grew out of a desire placed in Barry’s heart to see a life transforming community in Southwest Snohomish County that is externally-focused, culturally-relevant, and Spirit-empowered.

Allan Skoog, Worship Pastor and Pastoral Care

Allan has served in local church ministry most of his life. Allan brings a deep dedication to sharing the Good News with those who have not yet become followers of Jesus Christ. He oversees Pastoral Care and is the Pastor of Worship Ministries at North Sound Church.  In addition, he is responsible for partnering with city Edmonds, planning events that touch the lives of those in our community.  Allan has an extensive background in music ministry which has lead to the establishment of Mosaic Choir and Orchestra, of which he is the conductor.

Robin Munshaw,  Youth  Pastor

Robin joined North Sound Church with experience serving in youth, college, worship, and mission ministries.  As Community Pastor, Robin is committed to see the church focus on making a difference here and around the world. Our goal is to have everyone at North Sound Church utilize their passions and gifts for the purpose of making Jesus known in the Edmonds community and around the world.  Robin and his wife Dawnita, have three boys: Josiah, Jadon, and Justus.

Nancy grew up in Mountlake Terrace and spent a lot of time during high school in downtown Edmonds.  She graduated from King’s High School and Western Washington University.  After beginning her seminary degree at Fuller in Seattle, Nancy moved with her husband and children to Pasadena, California, so she could complete her Master’s at the main Fuller campus.  Shortly after coming back to Seattle, she returned to Bethany as a pastor and served for 10 years, both at the Green Lake campus and for a couple years at the north campus.  During the last year she worked at University Presbyterian Church.

Nancy lives with her husband, Glen, in Edmonds.  Together they have 3 adult children and a granddaughter who was born at the end of April and keeps them driving between here and Eugene as often as they can.

Jessica has been working with children in ministry for the past 18 years. She’s worked with children around the globe including Ukraine, South Africa and Mexico. She’s passionate about seeing children of all ages grow closer to the Lord. Jessica graduated from the University of Washington with her degree in Early Childhood Development. Jessica is a mother to wonderful girls, Taylor and Rory. In Jessica’s free time she loves to spend time with family, friends, and try new restaurants.

Parish Health Director

Jean joined the staff at North Sound Church in January of 2020 as Director of Parish Health following her career in the nursing profession. The guiding phrase for North Sound Church is “ life is not a solo journey”, and more than ever we need one another in order to navigate life’s circumstances. Parish Health is one expression of North Sound to serve people on the journey to health and wholeness. With her experience of more than 40 years in various roles of front-line care, administrative leadership and preparation in community health nursing, Jean seeks to build Parish Health as way to reach our church and community in a fresh way. Jean is married to Tom and has two grown daughters.

Pastor Finny will be serving as a pastoral intern at North Sound Church until April of 2022. Finny grew up in Mumbai, India and after graduating from medical school began working as a physician. In his clinical years he sensed a deeper calling to minister to people both physically and spiritually and went on to pursue a degree in theology which brought him to the US. He loves engaging Christian faith with science, philosophy and other worldviews. His other interests include a love for music and cooking for family and friends. He views mission as bringing Christ to the community through 4M’s: Message, Medicine, Music & Meals. He is married to Joanne and they have three children: John, Hannah and Nathan.
