Barry Crane, Senior Pastor

Barry was born in Wisconsin, but at a young age moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has served churches in Canada and the United States. He originally came to Seattle to attend graduate school at the University of Washington. Barry served as a United States Navy Chaplain for 25 years. Barry and his wife Barb have three adult children: Sean, Ryan and Scott. North Sound Church grew out of a desire placed in Barry’s heart to see a life transforming community in Southwest Snohomish County that is externally-focused, culturally-relevant, and Spirit-empowered.

Allan Skoog, Worship Pastor

Allan has served in local church ministry most of his life. Allan brings a deep dedication to sharing the Good News with those who have not yet become follows of Jesus Christ. As Pastor of Worship Ministries at North Sound Church, Allan assists the congregation in events that touch the lives of those in our community and leads the congregation in worship. Allan has a rich background as a Worship Pastor and producer of major productions. In addition to his responsibilities at North Sound, Allan directs Mosaic Choir & Orchestra and Kinetic Young Adult Choir.

Robin Munshaw, Community Pastor

Robin joined North Sound Church with experience serving in youth, college, worship, and mission ministries.  As Community Pastor, Robin is committed to see the church focus on making a difference here and around the world. Our goal is to have everyone at North Sound Church utilize their passions and gifts for the  purpose making Jesus known in the Edmonds community and around the world.  Robin and his wife Dawnita, have three boys: Josiah, Jadon, and Justus.

JOHN TAYLOR, DISCIPLESHIP PASTOR

John brings 37 years of experience working with churches all over the Pacific Northwest as a church architect and consultant with an emphasis on long range strategy. His personal involvement with previous ministry positions has included: small group leader, discipleship, missions, elder, men’s ministry, leadership development and assimilation. His deep passion is discipleship – helping the growing to grow and experiencing the presence of Jesus daily. John, along with his wife Jean and their 4 daughters have made 25 trips to the country of Ukraine over the last 18 years. John and Jean love spending time with their daughters, son-in-laws, friends, activities close to the water and Puget Sound!

KERRY KEARNEY, YOUTH PASTOR

After spending her childhood years in California, Kerry moved to Edmonds at the age of 13 and has never looked back.  She is married to Paul and they have one son, Cole.  Kerry has a diverse background including civil service, children’s ministry, youth ministry,  and real estate. She graduated from Northwest University with a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries.  She is energized through creativity and having fun. Kerry and Paul share a passion to see lives transformed through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and a desire to see young people live into the fullness of who God created them to be.

LIS STUBBS, CHILDREN’S PASTOR

Lis has worked with children from babies to youth over the past 35 years and loves to see the children cherished as they grow in knowing God.  She and her husband, Roy, have been at North Sound Church almost from the beginning and have 4 adult children and one granddaughter.

MARK MORRISON, PASTORAL CARE

Mark Morrison has served as a pastor to churches in Bothell, Snohomish, and Edmonds since 1977.  In addition to his role at North Sound Church, Mark leads Shepherd Ministries which has a heart to reach out to those who are without a church home.  He also ministers to students at UW – Bothell, and invests time in bringing encouragement to pastors.  Mark has been married to Judi for 37 years.  They have four children and seven grandchildren.
