Darrell grew up in Kansas where he met and married his hometown sweetheart, Helen. His focus has been science and engineering with a MS degree and continuing passion for knowing and understanding the nature of what God has created. He has worked in positions of engineering design and management most of his working life and for fourteen years owned a company which developed automation for the recording industry. He has been involved actively with each church that he has attended and became part of the church plant that started North Sound Church. He has attended Bible Study Fellowship for many years and loves to hunt, fish and contact folks from far away places on his ham radio. His major concern for our community and our country is the marginalizing effect of opposing world views on accepting the truth of God’s word. He points out that Science is confirming the order of creation, from nothing, as Genesis 1 records and that our students need to hear the perspective that Science and God’s word are not at odds with one another. Instead, our universe is fine tuned for the purpose of our existence and loving relationship to our Creator, exhibiting a consummate beauty unattainable from blind evolutionary processes.
